Maine Public Relations Council Announces Golden Arrow Awards Call for Entries

Maine Public Relations Council (MPRC) is now accepting entries for its 15th annual Golden Arrow Awards. The Golden Arrow Awards, established in 1990, honor excellence in public relations. - 10/26/2005

Golden Arrow categories include: Annual reports, brochures, newsletters, persuasive/motivational writing, informational/technical writing, technology, audio/visual, media relations, crisis management, citizenship, communications campaigns, special events, and odds and ends.

Eligibility and judging: All communications professionals based in Maine, regardless of client location, are invited to enter. Entries must be public relations/communications work created, produced and implemented for specific goals during the eligibility period of September 2004 through August, 2005.

Each entry must be accompanied by a challenge statement detailing objectives, situation analysis, methods used and results. Judging will be done by an organization similar to MPRC located outside Maine.

Entry fees:

First entry: $40 members, $55 non members Additional entry: $25 members, $40 non members

The deadline for entries is October 3, 2005. Winners will be announced at MPRC?s annual holiday party on December 1, 2005.
