Call for Speakers: 2026 MPRC Annual Conference

The Maine Public Relations Council is now accepting speaker proposals for our 2026 Annual Conference.
This year’s theme, “Grounded in Tradition, Rooted in Maine,” reflects the strength of our communications community — practical, trusted work shaped by local insight and real-world experience.
We’re looking for PR and communications professionals from across Maine to share ideas, case studies, and lessons that others can apply right away.
What we’re looking for
We welcome sessions that highlight:
- Real campaigns and results from Maine organizations
- Practical skills and tools communicators can use immediately
- Evolving trends in media, digital, and public engagement
- Lessons learned from challenges, pivots, or unexpected moments
- Perspectives from agencies, nonprofits, government, and in-house teams
Session format
- 45-minute sessions
- Solo or panel submissions welcome
- In-person presentation required

- Clear takeaways they can use in their work
- Honest insights — what worked and what didn’t
- Maine-focused context and examples
Submission requirements
Be prepared to share:
- Speaker information (name, title, organization, contact details)
- Session title and description
- Three clear learning outcomes
- Optional supporting context or ideas
